Brussels-based Jérôme Deuson surprised this year with a hundred dry trees, melancholic music that hovers somewhere between post-rock and electronica. Live, he uses guitar, keyboards and various acoustic instruments, making his performance sound richer and more dynamic than the modal laptop performance. Always different, always unique.
