Julie Eckhardt (DE) plays new compositions by Andrea Neumann (DE), Chiyoko Szlavnics (CA), Anne Wellmer (DE) and Stevie Wishart (AU/UK). The four composers, also performers and improvisationists (re)score new and existing compositions written for viola and media. Julia Eckhardt, violist and curator, performs the pieces with a number of composers, according to a process involving the communication between composer and performer as central point. Andrea Neuman and Anne Wellmer each perform an improvisation.
