The Power of Difference

Sonia Si Ahmed & Maya Dalinsky / Rahma Khazam & Dean Inkster / Holly Davey / Because We Are Visual (Olivia Rochette & Gerard-Jan Claes)

Together with Maya Dalinsky, Sonia Si Ahmed investigated the power of relations within the context of performances.

Rahma Khazam and Dean Inkster animate the film by Caecila Tripp with a performance of excerpts from The Making of Americans by Gertrude Stein.

Holly Davey offers a unique performance The portrait of an outsider where the identity of the building is central.

In the film Because We Are Visual, Olivia Rochette and Gerard-Jan Claes delve into the public world of video diaries. The Internet and its online community, seems to bring people closer together and enable them to connect. Yet, strangely enough, it seems that in the virtual world these so-called bloggers are confronted with their own loneliness more than ever.
