Yves Vanpevenaege, °1959 Ronse

The artist Yves Vanpevenaege uses various techniques and materials to develop his work. His oeuvre includes drawings, paintings, installations, objects, performances, photographs, sculptures and videos.

In 1985 he won the Prix Jeune Peinture Belge. Afterwards he took part in numerous high-profile exhibitions in Ghent, Brussels, Middelburg, Munich, Barcelona…and he has had solo exhibitions in Netwerk, Palace of Fine Arts, Hall (Antwerp), W139 (Amsterdam), James Van Damme Gallery (Brussels), Galerie Foncke (Ghent).
